Fares Azouni

My name is Fares Azouni and show jumping is my passion.

I started riding horses as a hobby at the age of 6 and began competing at national and international levels in 2021.

 

At the age of 15, I participated in the Youth Olympic Equestrian Games held in CHIO Aachen, Germany in 2022. I competed along with 30 young athletes from all over the world.

 

In 2026, I returned to Aachen for the second time, participating in the CSIY-A competition held alongside the FEI World Championships. Won first place in the team competition and finished eighth individually in the 1.40m class. Returning to Aachen was a significant milestone in my riding journey.

I currently compete for Canada at a Grand Prix level in various major competitions. I am  based in the Netherlands where I pursue both my passion to the sport and International Business studies at Erasmus University in Rotterdam.
